What is a baby cow called?

A baby cow is called a calf. Calves are typically born weighing between 60 to 100 pounds and can stand and walk within a few hours of being born. They rely on their mother's milk for nourishment in the first few months of their life but will eventually transition to solid food such as grass and hay. Calves are very playful and curious animals, often frolicking and exploring their surroundings. They are usually weaned from their mothers at around 6 to 8 months of age.
